Connect Google Search Console to growResonance

Connect Google Search Console to bring real search data (clicks, impressions, position) into your dashboard.

What you need

  • A Google account that owns (or is a verified user of) a Search Console property.
  • A website property that is already verified in Google Search Console.

Setup

  1. Open Integrations
Open Settings → Integrations. Under “Data sources” you will find the Google Search Console row.
  2. Connect with Google
Click “Connect” in that row and sign in with the Google account that has access to your Search Console property. growResonance only requests read permissions.
  3. Choose a property
After signing in, choose the property whose data you want to see.
  4. Wait for the backfill
When you first connect, we load the search data of the last few months. This usually takes a few minutes. After that, clicks, impressions, position and time series appear in your dashboard.
Note: Access is read-only (scope “webmasters.readonly”). growResonance does not change anything in your Search Console property.
Note: When you disconnect, the cached Search Console data is deleted right away.

Troubleshooting and FAQ

No properties are shown.

Then the Google account you used does not own or have access to a Search Console property. Verify your website in Google Search Console first, or sign in with the account that has access.

How do I switch the account or the property?

Disconnect the existing connection in Settings → Integrations (“…” menu of the Google Search Console row → “Disconnect”), then connect again with the account you want or choose a different property.

What happens when I disconnect?

All cached Search Console metrics are removed immediately. You can reconnect at any time.
